"Be Love! Orphan Outreach Missions'" (BLOOM's) founder and board members wanted to trail-blaze the road less traveled in orphan care. They wanted to find the hardest-to-reach and overlooked children, especially older children and teens. For them, there was another calling that was deeper. Instead of putting God in a box, they opened their hearts in prayer to look outside the box and see where God was calling them to serve. What they received was an opportunity to get out of their comfort zone to GROW their faith & let it BLOOM.
From there, programs were born where children could travel to the U.S. to learn English, see life outside their orphanages in Ukraine, Poland, Colombia and Haiti, and potentially even meet their future adoptive family. In addition, child sponsorship programs in eastern Africa evolved into what are now sustainable community empowering programs with our Ugandan partners.
Our Foundational Christian statements of Faith
God has revealed Himself as a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - three Persons and One God.
We believe the Holy Bible is God's word, personally spoken by God to mankind, for the purpose of revealing who He is; and that it is without error in all issues to which it speaks.
Jesus Christ is both fully human and fully God. He took upon Himself our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; He died upon the Cross as the pure and perfect sacrifice for the sin of the world; He arose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified; He ascended into Heaven, and He will come again.
Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin, and in that sense is spiritually lost. This is true of all humans. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through profession of faith in Jesus Christ's propitiatory death, for the forgiveness of sins.
Jesus is currently seated in Majesty, Power, and Authority alongside the Father and He is now accessible to us in both Prayer and Fellowship.
Statement of Faith
BLOOM’s Board, staff and volunteers in the USA, along with our host families, attest to being of the Christian faith, and we were founded on the principles of Christian ministry. Therefore, we must be like-minded individuals, with the primary goal of sharing God's love for orphans through the example of a Christian lifestyle.
BLOOM does not seek to judge or qualify anyone in regards to whether they are Christian or not. We simply state what we believe, and ask that our “Mission Team” members agree to the same statements. Our staff, board and volunteers all attend churches of various denominations of the Christian faith, but we believe in the same statement of faith above.
